A large buffalo hide, inscribed with Cherokee Strip Cow Punchers Association names and designs, was on display while Albert Stehno, co-author of "The Vanished Herd," toured the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center. The buffalo was killed on the 101 Ranch in the 1920s and the hide was donated and designed between 1932-1934. (Staff Photo by BONNIE VCULEK)
